Arosha Jayasundera, the Director and Founder of the Asian Institute of Excellence is a banker by profession. She was trained by Standard Chartered Bank to be a Lean Six Sigma Specialist. She is a graduate of the London School of Economics and has an MBA (Marketing) from Cass Business School, London.
She has also been trained by the National Productivity Secretariat and the Asian Productivity Organisation to be a Judge. She has been appointed in this category to adjudicate the National Entrepreneur of the Year Awards organized by the Federation of Chambers of Industry and Commerce (FCCISL) for 2019.
Arosha worked as a Banker in London for 5 years and then commenced her career as a Banker at DFCC, Sri Lanka in 1993. Since leaving Banking in 2008, Arosha has been involved in a number of projects in agriculture, ecotourism, tourism, health and construction which she has headed or owned.
Arosha is a Black Belt Lean Six Sigma Specialist. She is a Consultant to the Institute of Builders and the South Asian Lean Construction Institute on Lean Construction. She is also a member of the Lean Construction Institute, Qatar. She is also a Green Professional with the Green Building Council. Sri Lanka. She has given speeches at a number of local and international forums as well on the need for Productivity and Efficiency.
Arosha leads a team of experts in AIE who work closely with her on projects.
